This is a 8-hour experience in Chiang Mai. It is run by SNP Chiangmai Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Onsen bathing has a fixed etiquette: undress completely in the changing room, wash and rinse thoroughly at the seated showers before entering, keep the small towel out of the water, no swimwear, and no diving or swimming. Baths are separated by sex except in a few mixed rural ones. Tattoos are still refused at many public baths and larger resorts, though private baths, kashikiri, and an increasing number of tattoo-friendly onsen get round it; ask when booking. Water is typically 40 to 43°C, so ten minutes in and a rest is the rhythm. A ryokan stay includes a kaiseki dinner and futon bedding laid out while you eat.

The tour with wwoong was great We visited a temple, the craft markets, they took us to eat at a typical Thai restaurant (very tasty food), and to the hot springs. They were very attentive to us at all times. We are We're very proud to be the first to offer this activity. I highly recommend it if you come to Chiang Mai.
