Five hours is enough for Abu Dhabi's essentials if the driving is done for you, and this is the compact version for anyone already staying in the city or arriving with only a morning to spare.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque takes the largest share of it, and should. Free to enter, an abaya provided for women at the door, and worth the time for the main hall's carpet and the courtyard's marble inlay as much as for the domes everyone photographs.
The Heritage Village on the breakwater is the counterweight — a reconstructed oasis settlement with a working souq, metalworkers and potters, and the best straight-on view of the Corniche skyline across the water. The dates market nearby is a genuinely local stop rather than a staged one.
The rest is a Corniche drive with pass-bys of Emirates Palace and Saadiyat Island, where the museums are.
⚠️ Dress rules at the mosque are enforced on everyone, men included: shoulders and knees covered, nothing tight or sheer. And the mosque does not admit visitors on Friday mornings — if your date falls on a Friday, tell us and we will shift the running order. Lunch is not included.

It was cool :) I am satisfied :) but I Think that souk with fruits and atc... isnt need becouse it was more expensive than old souk in center ABU DHABI... But trip was great :) Thanks a lot ....
