Two hours paddling the waterways of Reem Central Park, in the middle of Abu Dhabi and yet almost entirely quiet once you are on the water.

The route winds between planted banks and under bridges, with the city's towers visible above the greenery and almost no boat traffic to share it with. It is flat water throughout, so no experience is required and the guide sets a pace that suits whoever turns up.

This is a genuinely good option for anyone who has done the mosque, the palace and the malls and wants something that is not any of those — and for families, since the water is calm and the kayaks are stable.

Guide, kayak, life jacket and waterproof dry bags are included, along with fresh fruit and a water refill station.

⚠️ Bring your own water bottle — there is a refill station rather than bottled water, which is deliberate and means you need to arrive with something to fill. Wear something that can get wet, use sunscreen you do not mind swimming in, and between June and September book the earliest slot of the day; two hours of paddling in Abu Dhabi's afternoon heat is a different proposition entirely.

This was a great trip! It’s a beautiful place, one minute you are in the city with sky scrapers and the next you are in the mangrove’s kayaking in pure peace and quiet. Would recommend without a doubt.

Really relaxing paddle tour. Our guide was Joshua and we weee his only clients, so it qas like a private tour. We learned about mangroves and enjoyed the sun and the beautiful water.

Amazing and beautiful mangroves! Early morning it’s the best time to enjoy this activity. You’ll get a little bit wet so, make sure to wear the right clothes or bring something extra. I’ll definitely take this morning tour again

Very nice and chill activity, we went with our two teenagers and they enjoyed it too. Our tour guide Joshua was very polite and friendly. We saw the beautiful mangroves, different birds, fish. Definately put it in your wish list while visiting Abu Dhabi!
