The aquarium inside Atlantis The Palm, built around the Ambassador Lagoon — a single enormous tank holding tens of thousands of marine animals, visible through windows several metres across.

It is themed as a lost city rather than presented as a zoo, with the tanks set into ruins and passages, and there are live mermaid performances through the day which sound absurd and are extremely popular with children.

Your pass covers general entry and the Ambassador Lagoon. A guided tour behind the scenes and an interactive souvenir trident are separate options chosen at booking.

Allow an hour to ninety minutes.

Worth knowing: this is a different ticket from Atlantis Aquaventure, the waterpark next door. Aquaventure's day pass includes the Lost Chambers Aquarium; this one is aquarium only, and it is the right choice if you want the marine life without a day of slides — or if you are staying nearby and want something for a hot afternoon.

If you buy the trident at reception, this will activate the interactive portals through out the aquarium which is a really cool feature and fun experience. My 6 year old son really enjoyed and had fun activating all the portals. It was an interesting and fun experience through out, you get to see mermaids around 7pm I think, but do confirm this with the staff there.

Absolutely worth it! I truly loved the Lost World Aquarium and had such a wonderful time with my daughters. It’s a beautiful, peaceful and unforgettable experience that I still think about today. My advice: get the combo ticket with the Water Park . it’s much better value. A must-do!

Fabulous experience , definately had the wow factor - check out times of feeding and the show the divers put on ! Thoroughly recommended and also seeing Atlantis hotel was also a treat - finished off with a snack and drink in Gordon’s place 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
