The Gulf of Oman is a different sea from the one Dubai sits on: cooler, clearer, and with reefs close enough to shore that snorkelling from a boat actually shows you something. Dibba, on the Fujairah coast, is where boats leave from, and it is about two hours across the country from Dubai.
The day is spent on the water with several stops. Visibility here is good most of the year and the shallow reefs hold clownfish, parrotfish, rays and turtles; the mountains come straight down to the shoreline behind you, which is not a view the west coast offers.
Equipment, life jackets, water, soft drinks and snacks are included, and the crew keep an eye on anyone who is not a confident swimmer — life jackets mean you can snorkel without being able to swim well.
⚠️ One thing to read carefully before booking: transport between Dubai and Fujairah is not free. It is arranged for you, but there is a surcharge of AED 160 paid to the operator on arrival. We would rather you knew that now than at the pickup point.
Eight hours door to door, most of it worth it for the water.

This runs outdoors, so the operator can call it off for rain, wind or sea conditions, and that decision is usually made on the day. If they cancel, you choose: another date, or your money back in full. We do not keep a booking fee on a tour that did not run.

Amazing!! Don’t just book for snorkeling, scuba diving is so worth it, even for beginners. The sea is a whole other world
My husband and I totally enjoyed our day. Our driver was great and the ride was very comfortable. Our guides, Mickey and Hanan were wonderful. Not sure if I got the second name right but they were both great. We loved what we saw in this snorkeling trip.

Very love experience. We love to dive and while we are snokeling we saw sharks and turtles.
The experience was fabulous! Khalid , my snorkelling instructor..was amazing! We saw may sea turtles, many kinds of beautiful fishes and even sharks. LOVED IT.
We were snorkeling, saw two turtles and about twenty black-tailed sharks. The car ride was long from Dubai city center, about 2.5 hours each way. The guide was friendly and helpful. We were lucky to see sharks and turtles, apparently it's not completely certain.
Exceptional organization, very well maintained boat and snorkeling equipment, we had a snorkeling guide that came with us. Very grateful to our guide and captain for their patience with my mom who was scared and wanted to quit but they managed to convince her to go! Thank you guys, will certainly come back!
Well organised trip from pick up to drop off. Good snorkelling equipment with excellent staff to provide guidance when required. A thoroughly enjoyable trip. Spotted sharks, turtles and numerous species of fish.

This morning my boyfriend and I went snorkeling at Nemo Diving Center. Our very kind driver, Shafik, picked us up at the hotel and was super helpful with everything. He drove wonderfully and had the air conditioning at the perfect temperature. The two instructors, Hassan and Karim, were special. They immediately made us feel at ease, especially my boyfriend, who isn't particularly fond of this type of activity (but instead said he'd love to go back). Karim was immediately available, helping us understand all the instructions with our poor English and being so friendly, he made us feel like family. Hassan showed me the underwater beauty of the island. He was so amazing person, and at the end he took me down with him for the dive that wasn't planned for me. He was kind, sweet, and able to convey a sense of security and tranquility (it was my first time diving), allowing me to live my best life. A fantastic experience ♥️
