The ten-million-litre tank you have already walked past if you have been in Dubai Mall — this ticket takes you inside it rather than looking through the viewing panel from the shops.
The walk-through tunnel runs beneath the water with rays and sand tiger sharks overhead, and the Underwater Zoo on the level above is arranged by habitat rather than by species: a flooded rainforest with piranhas and giant catfish, a rocky shore, and Penguin Cove, where the king and gentoo penguins live behind glass at a temperature that is a genuine relief in August.
There is also a nursery where young animals are raised, which is included and which most visitors walk past without noticing.
Allow an hour, a little more with children.

Several tiers exist — plain entry, VIP passes, glass-bottom boat rides over the main tank, cage snorkelling with the sharks, and penguin encounters — and they differ substantially in price and in what they include. The Aquarium is the best Aquarium we have ever been too , I would definitely recommend it to everyone
It was more than we expected, there was so much to see and we even able feed the fish and sharks within a safe environment, there was also petting allowed with some of the sea creatures. All in all a very exceptional experience..
wonderful experience, had the platinum VIP ticker, well worth price, access to everything skip the line. so many animals and fish, the aquarium is truly amazing. also had the penguin experience that was great.

A wonderful aquarium and zoo to explore, with all staff clearly demonstrating their knowledge, attachment, pride, and sincere investment in sharing the animals and environment with visitors. The highlight? Our personalised and gentle encounter with the Gentoo penguins. Being invited to stroke the back of Caspar - and meet four of his buddies - was truly emotional, and an experience we will never forget. We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Aquarium! Everything was beautifully organized, the animals were well cared for, and the entire atmosphere felt magical and immersive. The animal encounter was truly special and unforgettable – such a unique opportunity to connect so closely with them. One small note: the photos taken during the animal encounter are quite expensive, and phones are not permitted during that part of the experience. It would have been nice to have more flexibility there .overall, though, it was a wonderful experience and definitely worth visiting.
It was amazing to see all the sea life. The tunnel was great and in the zoo there are so many aquariums with so many beautiful fish. Two massive crocodiles but they are too large for their habitat. They are basically in a bathtub. The penguins reminds me of the movie “Happy Feet”. They just stand there and know when to perform. Overall: the aquarium is absolutely amazing and the crocodiles and penguins should really be released into the wild or moved to a much larger area as their area is too small.
Greaaaat! Penguin encounter was worth all money :) however photos are too expensive everywhere...
