Ninety-odd countries in pavilions across one site, each selling its own food, crafts and textiles, with funfair rides, stunt shows and a stage programme running through the evening.
It is part cultural expo, part night market, part funfair, and it is where Dubai's residents actually go on a weekend evening — which makes it a very different crowd from the malls and the beach clubs.
The food is the reason to come hungry. Each pavilion cooks its own, and the range from Afghan bread to Filipino grills to Turkish sweets is not something you get anywhere else in the city at these prices.
Hotel transfer is included, which is worth having: Global Village is out at Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, parking is chaotic on a weekend, and taxis at closing time are a scrum.
⚠️ It is seasonal and closes for the summer — the season runs roughly October to April and the site shuts entirely through the hottest months. Dates move each year. If your trip is between May and September, this is not available; tell us your dates and we will confirm before you pay.
Go on a weekday evening if you can. Weekends are extremely busy.

Had a great time at Global Village. I was picked up from my hotel by Liaqat Ali from 360 Adventures. He was kind and friendly from the beginning of the trip and gave us instructions on where to meet him when the time came to be picked up and taken back to the hotel. I unfortunately came out at the wrong entrance but Liaqat was very patient and helpful in guiding me back to the right entrance and pick up spot. Thanks to him my overall visit to Global Village turned out to be an enjoyable, adventurous and memorable experience!!!
