Full description

There is no other way to see the Palm. From the ground it is a road system; from an observation deck it is a shape in the distance. From a helicopter at a few hundred metres it is the thing it was drawn as, and the twelve minutes it takes to fly it are the reason people book this.

The route runs out over Dubai Marina and Bluewaters, along the Palm's fronds and around Atlantis, past the Burj Al Arab on its own island, and back over the coastline with the Burj Khalifa standing behind the whole city. Live commentary comes through the headset, so you know what you are looking at while you are still above it.

Flights of different lengths are available and the longer ones extend inland toward Downtown and the World Islands rather than simply repeating the route.

Two practical notes. Weight and balance rules mean passenger weights are taken at check-in and seating is assigned by the crew — window seats are not guaranteed and cannot be pre-booked. And flights are weather-dependent: summer haze and, occasionally, wind will delay or move a slot. Refreshments are provided at the terminal before you board.

Active was wonderful, the entire family enjoyed the experience. I wish it’s was more than 12 minutes however it feels like I was up there for more than 12 mins. My family and I highly recommended this activity. The view is beautiful. The staffs there were very friendly and Professional.

It wa scum I was scary and nervous but it was very smooth, the pilot was calm and it ended in 12 minutes, flew over the sea and saw palm jumeirah it was thrilling experience

All very professionally done. From check in until you get back off the aircraft. Everyone knew their job and it all went smoothly. The flight itself was amazing and the pilot talked you through the sites. Would definitely do this again

The activity was AMAZING! Though it was a bit dusty we were still able to see all the main sites and attractions during the ride. Regardless where you’re seated the pilot gives the view at all angles which I appreciated. Generally, the entire staff was welcoming and the service provided was great!
