Around fifty million flowers arranged into arches, hearts, a full-size Emirates A380 covered entirely in blooms, and a Smurfs village ā€” in the middle of a desert, which is the joke and the point.

It is genuinely enormous and genuinely photogenic, and it works on people who thought a flower garden sounded dull. The A380 alone holds several hundred thousand plants.

Hotel transfer is included, which matters because the garden sits out at Al Barsha South with no metro station and a long taxi fare in both directions.

āš ļø The single most important thing about this attraction: it closes for the summer. Dubai Miracle Garden runs roughly from November to May and shuts entirely through the hottest months, because the flowers cannot survive them. Dates shift year to year. Do not book a July trip around it, and if your travel falls near the edges of the season, tell us your date and we will confirm the garden is open before you pay.

Go early in the day or in the last two hours. Midday light is harsh and the middle of the day is when the coaches arrive.

Had a lovely visit to Miracle Garden yesterday. The gardens were beautiful, colourful and well worth seeing. Everything was organised smoothly, and the whole experience was enjoyable from start to finish.
