New Year's Eve in Dubai is the most oversubscribed night of the year, and the fireworks — over the Burj Khalifa, over Atlantis, along the Palm — are set off from several points at once. From land you see one of them. From the water you see the coast go up together.

This is a five-hour sitting on the Rose Royale, a megayacht rather than a converted dhow: a proper saloon with tables, an upper observation deck, and enough room that nobody spends midnight in a corridor.

Included is an unlimited buffet catered to hotel standard, soft drinks, premium spirits and prosecco through the evening, and live entertainment. VIP tickets add priority boarding and lounge check-in.

Two things to be clear about. This is a 31 December sailing and nothing else — it does not run on other dates. And it sells out earlier than almost anything in Dubai; by November the good tiers are gone.

The New Year’s Eve celebration aboard the Lotus Royale was very enjoyable. We were impressed by the wide selection and constant availability of delicious dishes, as well as the solid beverage offering. The only thing we missed was a bit more entertainment leading up to midnight. Special praise goes to crew member Ms. Jeniffer, who took excellent care of us throughout the entire evening and made sure we felt truly well looked after. Happy New Year 2026!

** EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE ** The Desert Rose NYE Cruise was an excellent experience! We celebrated my wife’s birthday on the beautiful Mega Yatch. The staff was EXTREMELY pleasant & attentive! The food was great with plenty of options. The entertainment included a live DJ. The music was high energy and covered multiple genres! The excellent view of the Fireworks was the icing on the cake! The best short cruise I’ve ever been on! I would definitely recommend this trip for family and friends!

Offered upgrade to a different boat which accepted however it was late departing food was average and due to lack of numbers there was not much atmosphere We did however get to access the top deck and had a great view of all the fireworks
