Full description
Ninety minutes blending your own perfume in Da Nang, and you leave with the bottle.
Perfume is built in three layers and that is what the session teaches. Top notes are the citrus and herbs you smell in the first minutes and then lose. Heart notes are the florals and spices that carry the middle hours. Base notes, the woods, resins and vanillas, are what is still on your skin at the end of the day and what makes one scent linger while another vanishes by lunchtime.
You work through the oils on blotters first, because the nose stops registering a smell after a few minutes and the order you test in changes what you choose. The instructor takes you through the balance, then you mix.
Vietnam grows a good deal of what goes in: cinnamon from Quang Nam, star anise from the north, and agarwood, the resin that makes oud and one of the most expensive raw materials in perfumery.
You take home a 10ml or 30ml bottle of what you made, and because the formula is written down you can have it made again.
Ninety minutes indoors makes this the thing to book when Da Nang's weather turns, which between September and December it regularly does.
Your place is held before your booking is final. The price covers the guided workshop, all materials and essential oils, and your bottled perfume to take away.

I did perfume making (30ML). The lady was very informative of the different types of scents and what goes well together. I did a mix of lemon grass, lotus and white tea with amber and I was very happy with my outcome and how it smelt. I would definitely recommend this activity.

Such a lovely experience in Da Nang! The space and decorations were beautiful, with such cozy and aesthetic vibes. They even offered a free drink, which was a really nice touch. I also loved how carefully the instructor guided me through creating my own perfume. I loved my scent so much that I even paid extra for a 10ml roll-on version. Plus, they sell so many cute things here ✨ honestly a little heaven for girls 💕
It was a great experience! Our instructor was sweet, helpful and very thorough, the store has a lovely atmosphere and we even bought some jewellery after. They also made us coffee which was lovely! Would definitely recommend the perfume workshop- you don’t need to know anything coming in!
