Full description
This is a experience in Da Nang. It is run by RANG Danang, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japanese craft classes are taught by practitioners who have usually done the craft for decades, and they teach it properly: calligraphy begins with how to hold the brush and grind the ink; pottery on the wheel produces a cup that is fired and posted to you weeks later; ikebana teaches the three-line structure of a Sogetsu or Ikenobo arrangement; indigo dyeing and washi papermaking are done in the workshops of the towns that specialise in them. Classes run one to three hours, materials are included, and most welcome children with a parent.
The price covers Tandoori Naan Bread-Making Class, Hands-on experience, Expert chef guidance, Freshly baked naan tasting and Signature dips. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
RANG Danang sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with RANG Danang before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

My wife and I had a great experience. We started with the Naan Making class and stayed for lunch. The Naan making class was so easy, fun, and wasn’t long at all. We made 3 different naans and enjoyed them while we ate our food. The signature drinks were unique delicious and strong. The server was so polite and attentive.
The restaurant was very luxurious and the staff very polite. The man who teached me how to bake was friendly and patient even when I first had struggles to follow his instructions. I would recommend this place!
This was an amazing experience, would recommend to anyone that is interested in indian cuisine. The staff there was extremely welcoming and helpful and taught us how to make the Naan from start to finish, including the baking process in the clay oven. After that, we could taste the 3 different types of Naan with a Curry from the restaurant. Very interesting experience and amazing food!
The team at the Michelin-starred restaurant "Rang" was absolutely fantastic and incredibly friendly. I was able to do everything myself, from making the dough and seasoning it to baking. I could also watch the chefs at work. And of course, the food was absolutely delicious. A truly wonderful experience.
The experience was wonderful, and making naan from scratch was truly enjoyable. I gained valuable insights into Indian cuisine and got to know the people working there a little bit. I highly recommend it!
It was the best activity of our whole trip!! The cooking class happens in their real kitchen while other chefs are cooking food for the customers. Everyone was SO welcoming and joyful! The kitchen is clean and professional and the restaurant beautiful with amazing food! I can’t recommend enough this activity. Chef Manku and server Amit were amazing. It really exceeded my expectations!
This class was an awesome experience! It was just me and my husband and everyone made us feel so welcome and special. Everyone in the kitchen and in the restaurant went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. The value and attention given is worth so much more than what we paid or expected. We bought lunch to enjoy with our freshly made naan and it was the best Indian food we have ever eaten! You will not forget this class nor the amazing staff! What a treat.
What a fantastic experience! We got to make our own dough and add different flavorings and then stick the naan into the tandoori oven. So much fun!!! Then we ate our naans with some curry (at our own cost) which was so flavorful and delicious. It was the best malai koftas that I’ve ever had. We met the chef and the kitchen staff including the tandoori master who were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was beautiful and we would 100% do this again. Loved it.
I'm thrilled! It's not a long activity, up to 20 minutes, but it's worth it! This is making traditional bread from scratch in a professional Michelin kitchen! I highly recommend it!
I was warmly welcomed into the restaurant's kitchen and instructed by the chef on how to make different variations of Naan bread, both in a Tandoor oven and at home - I was even offered authentic, freshly-made Indian Chai to try alongside the Naan. I would recommend this course to anyone who likes bread, baking, and Indian food.
Une expérience très sympa en petit comité et assez rapide (30min) ce qui permet de passer à table par la suite !
The activity was informative and hands on. My 10 year old and I attended the class as a mother daughter activity. The class took place in the kitchen, we made a bowl of dough each and then we chose our flavors. All together we made roasted garlic, jalapeño, cheese and butter. To cook the Naan we used a Tandoori oven, my daughter was a little short so I was the only one to use the Tandoori. Afterwards we sat and enjoyed our Naan. We boxed up the leftovers and took it home.
