This is a 2-day experience from Ha Long, built around Have Breakfast and Brunch on board. It is run by Venezia Cruises, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Nagoya is Japan's fourth city and the gateway to the Ghibli Park at Nagakute, opened in 2022 with timed tickets that sell out weeks ahead, to Nagashima Spa Land and its rollercoasters, and to Inuyama, whose castle is one of the twelve original keeps. Nagoya Castle's golden dolphins and the Toyota Commemorative Museum are the city's own sights, and hitsumabushi grilled eel and miso katsu are its food. The Ise Grand Shrine, Shinto's most sacred site, rebuilt every twenty years, is 90 minutes south.

Lunch time while continuing our journey via the islets
We have lunch before continuing our journey via the islets. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner. This area is untouched, as not many cruise ships use the route via Cat Ba Island through Cua Dong to the Ba Trai Dao area.
Kayaking & Swimming time in Ba Trai Dao beach, Lan Ha Bay
The cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay. The area is surrounded by extraordinary limestone karst landscapes. You can start your journey to visit the Ba Trai Dao Beach area and islets by kayaking, which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage site. Enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the bay.
Enjoy Sunset - Happy Hour deal & Cooking demonstrations
Return to your Venezia Cruises boat so you can watch the magnificent sunset. Onboard you may join a traditional cooking class. Our chef will instruct you in making some Vietnamese dishes. In the early evening, the boat has its Happy Hour deal.
Enjoy Dinner
Dinner is served. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful on-board catering staff. This is a delightful meal in an intimate, romantic setting.
Free time for relaxing or try squid fishing & Karaoke
Enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck. Relax whilst enjoying drinks from the bar. Try your hand at night squid fishing, and enjoy the fun karaoke time with friends and family. Overnight on Venezia Cruises.
Have Breakfast
7:00 Enjoy a light breakfast in the delightful and peaceful beauty of the bay.
Biking to Viet Hai village, try "foot massage by fish"
Transfer to a tender to visit Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island and hop on a bicycle ride (electric car also available) through a rainforest tunnel that leads to a village nestled in a valley deep in a national park. Meet & visit a traditional house, greet local inhabitants doing their daily work, and see their homes.
After the village, back to cruise for checking out cabin
Return to the Venezia Cruises boat for check-out procedures (~10:00).
Brunch on board
Whilst cruising back, you can enjoy a delightful lunch on board (~10:50 am)
Arrive at Ben Beo Harbour
The guests will leave the boat about 11:50. Depending on your package option, you will join the bus to Hanoi Old Quarter/Ninh Binh/Catba or finish at Ben beo harbour for your next activity.

Fabulous trip! Transport to and from the cruise was very comfortable, and the cruise was a fun filled 24 hours. Both the crew and our guide, Thai, were extremely accommodating and helpful and are us feel very welcome. Kayaking was fun and scenery beautiful, despite the spells of rain. Would highly recommend this trip.
We really enjoyed this overnight cruise and all the activities we did, including kayaking, swimming and cycling through a local village. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was amazing and the facilities were overall pretty good, although the bathrooms could've been a little bit cleaner. I would definitely recommend it and it was very good value-for-money.

Amazing two days, with a great variety of programmes, excellent hospitality by the staff and beautiful views!
The programs were very fun. The first day we went kayaking, where you could swim too. The second day we went to the Viet Hai village, where we biked around the island.
Everything was just amazing ! From the pick up at the hotel to the cruise itself! Tom really took care of us and explained us a lot about the Vietnamese culture. We could do so many differents things with a super friendly group : kayaking, enjoying the views from the boat, cooking class, squid fishing at night and even cycling on Cat Ba Island. It was amazing to be only 10 people on a small boat and the area was quite quiet and peaceful compared to the crowd and huge boats that can be found in the Halong Bay. 10/10, it was way above our expectations.
The trip was very well organized. There was plenty to do and it was fun but not overly tailored to the lowest common denominator. Anh, our guide was very kind and helpful. He provided a lot of local color and kept the trip on course.

We enjoyed our trip. The staff was very nice and did an excellent service. Food offers also good vegetarian options! Nothing to complain about
We really enjoyed the trip, both the active and the relaxing moments. We had fun with the kayak, the cooking lesson and the squid fishing. Our guide Tung was very entertaining and knowledgable, he explained us a lot on Cat Ba island. Our cabin was large and really nice, the food was good. We recommend Venezia cruise!
Partiamo dai punti di forza della crociera: la guida (Ab) è stata carinissima, simpatica, disponibile e alla mano. Il posto che abbiamo visto ed in cui abbiamo dormito era incredibile. Il trasporto è stato più che soddisfacente (ad averlo anche in altri posti!). Il personale della crociera molto educato e gentile. Tolto questo il rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente insoddisfacente, il totale della crociera copre meno di 24 h. Abbiamo fatto un paio di ore tra kayak e nuoto racchiusi in un unico segmento senza poter più toccare acqua. Il cibo era poco e non della migliore qualità. La lezione d
