This is a 2-day experience in Ha Long, built around Travel from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay, Board your cruise at Tuan Chau Marina and Relax on board. It is run by Phoenix Cruise, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The price covers Sightseeing cruise, Guide, All entrance fees, Bamboo boat trip or kayaking and Spring roll cooking demonstration. It does not cover Single traveler supplement fee, Surcharge of $35 per person for Gala dinner on December and Drinks at the bar, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

The cruise was lovely, and the staff was extremely helpful! We stayed for one night, which might not give much time to just relax on deck and chill. The activities were very well organised, on time and enjoyable! The food was also good! In the evening, people may chill on deck. Ti-Top Island was also lovely! We managed to coordinate with the tour operator to transfer to Ninh Binh, rather than back to Hanoi from where we were collected. We had a great tour on Ha Long Bay. It was really easy to get picked up from our hotel I. Hanoi. It’s about a 3hr drive with a stop at a random gift shop/convenience store half way. The boat was great, food was delicious and activities good. The activities in Ha Long Bay are very touristy, it seems that all the boats do the same activities so there is often lots of people there at the same time but the actual things you do are great. We had karaoke at night and had lovely other people on the boat with us.
Loved everything about it. Our guide Erik was in contact before the tour to make sure all the arrangements were made for the pickup. He is very knowledgeable and explained a lot on the ride to Ha Long Bay about life in Vietnam. The food was superb, so much variety and really filling. The tour itself had a number of activities so we were kept busy but also had down time.
Good value for money, considering you have a one night stay, 4 meals on the boat (2 lunches, 1 breakfast and 1 dinner), 3 excursions from the boat and the guide entertaining you. The only downside was that the area is full of tourists, so be prepared, but this has nothing to do with the tour. Thank you, Eric!
A great budget style cruise to see Ha Long Bay. The boat was different to the photos, & the bus & some parts of the boat were dated, however this didn’t affect our experience. Sea, our guide was lovely & made us all comfortable. Hotel pickup was convenient, food was great, & all the activities were very enjoyable & worth the price! We also met some lovely new friends as well. If you’re looking for a cheaper value for money cruise, & are on a budget, this cruise is suitable!

Our guide Sea was very organized and helpful, kindly answered all questions during the trip and organized us a transport to airport from Hanoi. The boat was in fair condition, activities were well organized, food was plentiful and delicious. Wished for longer time that music would be allowed on New Year Eve, but the group was great and we enjoyed the time together even without music.
Very good organisation, our guide Tee was very informative, motivated and spoke good, understandable English. Always informed us about the next steps and even made it possible to get 4 of us get picked up from the waiting line for the Surprising Cave to get back to the ship in time to see sunset. Food on ship was very enjoyable and plenty and also the crew very friendly. Totally recommend that tour!
The cruise through Halong Bay was beautiful! Although the weather was not sunny, our guide Dan (very nice and helpful) and the crew were great at trying to let us have the best time! Everything was very well organized and the food was delicious! Would 100% recommend the experience!
