This is a 2-day experience from Ha Long, built around Stop on the Halfway. It is run by Ha Long Bay Lux Cruises - Marvel Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Nagoya is Japan's fourth city and the gateway to the Ghibli Park at Nagakute, opened in 2022 with timed tickets that sell out weeks ahead, to Nagashima Spa Land and its rollercoasters, and to Inuyama, whose castle is one of the twelve original keeps. Pick-up from Hanoi Or Ninh Binh
Pickup from Hanoi or Ninh Binh transfer to the harbor Get picked up from the Hanoi Old Quarter at 8:00 AM and begin your 2.5-hour journey by limousine to Tuan Chau Marina. The limousine bus also pick-up from Ninh Binh at 7:00 AM for customers who would like to be picked up from Ninh Binh to Halong Bay (please send an email request) And on the way, please stop about halfway for a 20-minute break so we can use the restroom and relax.

Summer Activities: From Apr to Oct The boat anchors at the Cong Do area, a perfect spot for guests to go kayaking among majestic limestone mountains and enjoy swimming freely at pristine beaches. Guests can also relax on the endless stretches of white sandy shores, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty Winter: From Nov to March The cruise stops at Vung Vieng Floating fishing village, a wealthy fishing village and had its reputation for culturing pearls.
Dinner Served on Cruise
You will then have the afternoon at your leisure to relax, sunbathe, or kayak around the Bai Tu Long Bay landscape. Following your leisure time, you will join a cooking class on-board as hosted by your chef, before dinner is served at 7:00PM. The rest of your evening will be yours to spend at your leisure, you can enjoy chatting at the bar, relax in your room or enjoy some night fishing before spending the night on the boat.
Thien Canh Son Cave - Bai Tu Long Bay
6:30 Good morning the Bay by joining Tai-Chi Exercise on the sundeck minutes whilst cruising to “Thien Canh Son” Cave. 7:00am A light breakfast is ready to serve at the restaurant .8:00am you will transfer by tender to the Thien Canh Son cave. Here your tour guide will take you to a huge cave with many interesting stalactites and stalagmites in different and amazing formations. After about half an hour of cave exploration, you will return to your tender which will take you back to your boat.
Lunch On The Cruise
Once having relaxed, it will be time for you to begin packing your luggage before checking-out of your cabin. Lunch will then be served at 10:30AM, which you can enjoy while cruising back through Ha Long Bay to the pier. At 11:30AM you will disembark at the wharf, at which point you will be driven back to Hanoi, marking the end of your 2-day cruise adventure.

As with all our tours in Vietnam, everything ran smoothly, from our timely collection at our hotel, to all the activities onboard our boat. The room on our boat was amazing, the food delicious and plentiful and the staff wonderful. I felt like a movie star. Swimming in the water was relaxing and although there were a couple of other boats nearby it was still peaceful. We also did a walk into a cave and kayaking. I believe we should have gone by boat into a cave but it has become too dangerous in there. Although our guide told us a little about the geography of the region, I would have liked a
Great cruise. We went the day after a big bank holiday, plus it was extremely rainy the day we departed, so it ended up being way less busy than usual (we had 8 guests vs 20-25). This meant we got a complementary upgrade - the room was beautiful and very comfortable. Our guide, Andy, was great, the service was good, and the food was plentiful. Would recommend!
Oh wow, for the money this trip was outstanding. We almost had the bay to ourselves compared to Halong Bay. Bai Tu Long Bay was so peaceful. I love all the activity and prep and detail that was prepared for us, right down to having our countries' flag at our dining tables. How special. The activities were just right-loved the Tai Chi in the am. Staff was just superb and food was delicious. I would this one again with friends.
Everything was so well organised and communicated. The boat trip was perfect and we went further away from the other cruise boats to a quieter part of the bay. Very well fed on board, the good just kept coming. Staff went above and beyond. A very enjoyable trip all round.
This was the most incredible experience. All of the staff were so accommodating, happy, kind and took great care of us. The boat was really nice and they decorated our room beautifully and gave us a delicious cake for our honeymoon. The food was also delicious—seriously impressive even if we weren’t on a boat in the middle of the ocean! I really enjoyed the activities and learning about the culture, fishing village, and cave. It was such a heartwarming experience with great energy that we felt healed and refreshed when we disembarked the cruise. We only wish we had extended our trip by a day!
Booked the cruise couple of weeks before we went to Vietnam. Had to change Dates, two clicks done. Like everything on the cruise very smooth an easy going. Jessica was in contact with us starting a few days ahead of the Hanoi Hotel pickup and did a great job sorting everything very smoothly. Back in Europe we are not used to this high Level of Support and assistance, so lean back, everything is taken care of and you ll get all the Information when you need it. Great little two day one night cruise. It’s a really old boat but it remodeled on the inside. There are 3 bays in the area with Halong bay and bai tu long bay. Bai tu long bay according to staff is much quieter than Halong bay. Overall it was a good experience. Definitely more of a wind down kind of cruise.

We loved EVERYTHING about this trip! The organising went smooth (we got picked up in Ninh Binh and dropped off at the airport for our flight to Da Nang - and we were exactly on time at the airport). The time on the boat was outstanding! The staff where so kind and friendly, food was great! I was travelling with husband, my 2 year old daughter and my 70 year old parents - so I would say it suits all ages (but there where a couple of activities we skipped, to just chillax on the boat). We all loved it, and would highly recommend it to everyone! And would of course love to go back!
Beautiful, clean and comfortable boat. Comfortable room with bathroom, and everything very clean. The staff are well organized, professional and super friendly. Andy, who's the Manager, has a lot of roles to play, but he never loses his smile. Our group left, and 1 hour later they were already welcoming a new group, and I suppose it's like that every day, but the smiles don't disappear, and the pace doesn't slow down
This cruise in Bai Tu Long Bay was very relaxing : the accommodation on the boat was good, the staff very attentive and the food excellent. The scenery was spectacular. It was nice to do some activities such as kayaking or visiting a fishing village and a cave.
