Nagoya is Japan's fourth city and the gateway to the Ghibli Park at Nagakute, opened in 2022 with timed tickets that sell out weeks ahead, to Nagashima Spa Land and its rollercoasters, and to Inuyama, whose castle is one of the twelve original keeps. Nagoya Castle's golden dolphins and the Toyota Commemorative Museum are the city's own sights, and hitsumabushi grilled eel and miso katsu are its food. The Ise Grand Shrine, Shinto's most sacred site, rebuilt every twenty years, is 90 minutes south.

Incredible! Very well organised and the Plankton was magical! Fed very well! And cater for vegetarian!
This activity was managed by 2 different companies. The first one took us on the kayak trip with bioluminescent plankton which was great! Then they dropped us off in a “Homestay”, which was more like a floating bar - it was the kayak rental place and the men who ran it didn’t speak any English, stayed up late smoking, drinking and playing cards, and there was no cell signal. The room was comfortable although not clean, urine was all over the bathroom. The ceiling leaked during a rainstorm in the night so 1/4 of the bed was soaked and we had to move our stuff which was in a puddle. The next day
Nous avions booké il y a un moment et n’avions plus en tête tout ce qui était au programme. Nous nous sommes laissés porter et de surprise en surprise surtout la 1ere journée où nous avons dormi sur la joncque. Un moment privilégié qui restera gravé !
