Overall a great 2 days, our guide Nam in Ninh Binh was brilliant, so happy and enthusiastic! Scenery was beautiful in both places and you got to see all the main sites in a short space of time. I would say it’s all quite touristy (so if you are looking for off the beaten track this isn’t it), especially the caves at Ha Long bay, but the scenery is so stunning it’s definitely worth going! Both days of tours very well organised, transport great and communication about transfer etc all brilliant.

If you have limited time, this is a good way to see the highlights of both Ninh Binh and Ha Long. Everything was well organized.

Absolutely loved Ninh Binh! it was well paced and activities were excellent. Ha Long Bay was a bit anti--climactic to be honest. Air was hazy, water dirty with rubbish and way too many people. Quite a lot of waiting around time. But the kayaking and cave were well worth the effort. Tour guides on both days were excellent.

Ninh Binh was incredible and well worth it, Ha Long Bay was a bit underwhelming, very busy and the water was quite dirty. Overall the tour is operated well however communication is not fantastic and could definitely be improved upon especially with transfers after the Ninh Binh leg of the tour.

Absolutely loved Ninh Binh, had a fantastic guide and the scenery was breathtaking. Ha long bay is very busy and filled with tourists, still well worth the visit though.
