This is a 2-day experience in Ha Long. It is run by Beka Travel Co. Ltd, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

Joey was an excellent guide. Really went above and beyond. Definitely got stepped on while helping us off and on the boat (I am so sorry) - really deserves 5 star reviews and definitely more tips. The tour was awesome and the night kayaking was chilly but completely worth it. Food was delicious. Swimming, kayaking, bicycle ride and more were a blast. Monkey island wont happen. Didn’t go on a hike either but the home stay in the town was lovely and the coffee was strong. Very nice people all around and it was fun jumping off the top deck of the boat.
