This is a 3-day experience in Ha Long, built around Ninh Binh Bungalow and Mua Cave. It is run by Halongbayluxcruises - Marvel Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The price covers Pickup and drop-off, Roundtrip transportation in an air-conditioned vehicle, Tour guide for Ha Long Bay and Hoa Lu, Trang An, Ninh Binh and Lan Ha Bay entry fees and Boat trip at Trang An. It does not cover Drinks, Single supplement surcharge and Travel insurance, Surcharge on New Year, Christmas, so budget for those separately. Ha Long Bay Check In Cruise
12:00 PM (Check-in): Begin your Halong Bay adventure with a warm welcome at Halong International Harbour. 12:30 PM: Board the cruise via a tender boat, where you will be greeted by our Cruise Manager and crew. Enjoy a safety briefing and get acquainted with your itinerary while savoring our signature welcome drink.
Lunch and discovery Sung Sot Cave - Halong Bay
12:45 PM: Relish a delicious lunch in our cozy restaurant as the cruise departs towards Halong Bay’s natural wonders. Take in the stunning limestone formations and famous sights along the way. 2:45 PM: Our first stop is Bo Nau Cave located in the core area of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, we visit Sung Sot Cave (Surprising Cave), renowned as Halong Bay’s largest and most beautiful cave.
Visit Titop Island - Swimming - Hiking
3:45 PM: Continue by tender to Titov Island, named after Soviet astronaut Gherman Stepanovich Titov who visited in 1962. Enjoy swimming, relax on the beach, or climb to the peak for breathtaking views of Halong Bay. 5:00 PM: Return to the cruise and unwind as we sail to our overnight anchorage.
Cooking Class, Dinner, Squid Fishing
6:00 – 7:00 PM: Join us for a Sunset Party with “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” drinks as we watch the sun set over the beautiful bay. 6:30 PM: Participate in a cooking demonstration led by our Head Chef, highlighting traditional Vietnamese dishes. 7:00 PM: Enjoy a fusion dinner menu, perfect for concluding an active day. 8:30 PM: Engage in evening entertainment options, including films, mini-games, squid fishing

09:15–10:00: Pick up at Hotel Ninh Binh 10:00–10:30: Arrive at Hoa Lu, the 10th-century ancient capital. Visit King Dinh and King Le temples and learn about Vietnamese history from the guide. Cycle to explore scenic limestone mountains and countryside.
Lunch and Visit Trang An Boat Tour Afternoon
12:00: Buffet lunch at a local restaurant (goat meat specialty; vegetarian available). 13:30: Arrive at Trang An. Spend ~2.5 hours on a sampan boat exploring caves, Sao Khe River, temples, and King Kong film
Mua Cave
15:45: Return to bus, transfer to Mua Cave. Climb ~500 steps to Lying Dragon Mountain for panoramic views of Tam Coc.
Transfer back to Hanoi Old Quarter

Well organised and great trip all round. The only minor hiccup was me not reading the small print about a surcharge for the lunar new year but it didn’t spoil the overall experience. Both the Ninh Binh and Ha Long Cruise were special trips. The staff on the tours, in the and on the boat were all very friendly and helpful. The communication throughout was very good and we had an amazing time.
A fantastic trip! Jennifer from the main office was very helpful coordinating this trip & Quy our guide was very knowledgeable - he is a native of Ninh Binh so that was a big plus. The limo bus was of high quality, the lunch stop was clean & tasty, the cycles provided & the cycling route was perfect, nice temple tour. But the highlights were the glorious 1.5 hour boat ride in Tam Coc & the challenging yet rewarding hike up to the top of Mua Caves.
excellent guide and well balanced day - buffet lunch very good for a tour. Bus a bit uncomfortable over the bumps but probably as I was sat at the back!

Great tour in a beautiful area. The tour company reached out not long after I booked this to check in on my group’s pick-up location and other logistics. Our guide Ha was very welcoming, informative without feeling overbearing, and patient. My group was running late to our pick-up location (we booked a hotel outside of Old Quarter) and Ha was very accommodating. He even spoke with our Grab driver to redirect us properly.
