This is a 3-day experience in Ha Long. It is run by NINH BINH FOOTPRINT TRAVEL, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Nagoya is Japan's fourth city and the gateway to the Ghibli Park at Nagakute, opened in 2022 with timed tickets that sell out weeks ahead, to Nagashima Spa Land and its rollercoasters, and to Inuyama, whose castle is one of the twelve original keeps. Nagoya Castle's golden dolphins and the Toyota Commemorative Museum are the city's own sights, and hitsumabushi grilled eel and miso katsu are its food. The Ise Grand Shrine, Shinto's most sacred site, rebuilt every twenty years, is 90 minutes south.

Visit Luon Cave by Kayakin or Bamboo Boat

Day 3: Luon Cave Kayaking/Bamboo Boat – Hanoi Wake up early to enjoy the fresh air. Have breakfast and then cruise to Luon Cave, located on Bo Hon Island. Due to its limited height, the only way to visit Luon Cave is by a small boat or a kayak. Check out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay. Savor lunch while cruising back to Tuan Chau Harbor. Arrive at the harbor, say goodbye to the crew, and head back to Hanoi or Ninh Binh. Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, ending your trip.

Our 3 day trip started with a hotel pick up which started well, on time and in good transport (bus) it is shortly after this however that things deteriorated drastically. After a couple of hours we stopped and were kicked off the bus and told another was 40minutes away. An hour later what can only be described as a very rundown local taxi showed up and we were bundled into the last three seats along with the luggage on my lap and the vehicle’s air conditioning unit leaking water over me. We stopped numerous times on the motorway to drop off and collect local passengers. 15 minutes away from ou
