This is a 10-hour experience in Ha Long, built around Bus/coach, Quang Ninh Province and Sung Sot Cave. It is run by Sunlighttravel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The price covers Pickup and drop-off at Hanoi old quarter, A bottle of water per person on bus, guide during the trip, Entrance fees and Kayaking or bamboo boat at Luon cave. It does not cover Drinks,Travel insurance, Tips for tour guide and personal expense and Surcharge of $10 per person on Christmas, New Year, Tet, so budget for those separately. Halong Bay was phenomenal, we took the optional speedboat Ride (at cost, around £10) around the islands which was stunning and very worth it. the buffet lunch was great, there were vegan options for us which was good - but we had to ask a few staff to assertain which were good for us as they weren't labelled as such. our tour guide Long was brilliant, informative and friendly. we also got the chance to canoe through a cave and see some incredible scenery from the water. all in all great day, thank you Long!
Our guide Robert hung was excellent, he made sure every time that everyone was back on the boat and was attentive to questions about the activities on offer. The boat was well equipped and the staff were also very nice

Hank our tour guide was great and worked hard to make sure we had a good day. The boat and bus were both very comfortable and spacious, and the food provided was delicious. Just be aware that all the tours do the exact same route though so it will be busy and there will be lines for everything. There’s also a 45 minute stop at a pearl shop that was for us a waste of time and took away from an otherwise great day.
We liked everything. The day was better than expected and many many thanks to Tiger - Than, he was loving, caring and really funny too. 🥰 ❤️❤️ Would totally recommend this tour.

Thanh was super helpful and very knowledgeable, transport, both bus and boat are modern and full of mod-cons, lunch was great value for money and the cruise staff couldn't have been more helpful! Fully flexible for requirements and the itinerary ensuring best use of time. Would recommend and book with them again when next in Vietnam, thank you Thanh!
