This is a 3-hour experience from Ha Long, built around Cai Beo Floating VillageTransfer, Lan Ha Bay and Water taxi. It is run by Blue Swimmer Outdoors, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

Overall a great experience: Luan is a friendly and enthusiastic local guide, who will take you through many different experiences, from floating village, kayaking in the dark, visiting Lan Ha bay and the surrounding bay. We had so much fun and a great view. Definitely recommended!

The best night adventure on Lan Ha bay! We went from the pier to a wonderful floating village. After that we went across to get kayaks and we paddled around in the bioluminescent plankton. Our local guide, Lam, was extremely kind and serious and had lots of knowledge about the area. Would recommend to anyone !
Unique and unforgettable experience with a lovely adventure within floating village! This is the best moment to see the glowing plankton. Tran was a really excellent guide and his English is fabulous!
