This is a 2-day experience in Hanoi, built around Board your Cruise, Kayak around Cap La Island and Experience the Sunset Onboard. It is run by DGB Travel & Event Company, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

The price covers 1-night cruise in Ha Long and Bai Tu Long Bay, English guide on cruise, Fully furnished cabin with ocean view, Luxury cabin with Private Balcony & Bath-tub Ocean View and Welcome drinks. It does not cover Alcoholic beverages & Soft drinks, A surcharge of US$60 at the time of cruise check-in and A surcharge on Christmas, New Year, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

11:30 AM - Arrive at Halong International Port (Sun World Port) and enjoy some time to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee before transferring to the boat.

Check-in and Relax in your Cabin

12:50 PM - Once onboard, relax with a welcome drink and listen to a short briefing about boat safety and activities before checking into your cabin.

The whole experience was amazing. The tour guide Nguyen was very helpful and knowledgeable. The staff on the ship was so friendly. It was a fantastic cruise and will definitely recommend it to anyone. The small group tour makes the experience more personal. 10 out of 10

Perfect experience! This was the perfect route to avoid crowds and experience the immense beauty of Halong Bay. The tour was very well organized, the team communicated ahead of the departure and all transportation went smoothly. The stay on the boat was very confortable and the food was very nice. The staff was friendly and atttentive, Hung, the guide, was wonderful!

This was the highlight of our trip to Hanoi. It was managed efficiently from start to finish. We changed the date because of the weather and this was not a problem which was great. The guide was friendly and very engaging as were all the other staff. They all worked together very well to ensure everyone was having a great time. Would highly recommend this group and the trip. Accomodation on board was good as was the food.

What an amazing trip this was! The cruise was fantastic and we were looked after from the moment we stepped aboard the Cicada. The food was exceptional and the staff were friendly without being overbearing. The excursions were well planned and the route the captain plotted around Ha Long and Bai Tu Long Bays made for the most magnificent views. We particularly loved the final mooring for our evening as it was sheltered and very private being surrounded by limestone karsts. I would thoughly recommend this cruise without reservation.

We’ve just finished our cruise and it’s been one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Vietnam. A huge part of that is down to our guide, Cong. He was fantastic from start to finish, knowledgeable, organised, and genuinely warm and attentive. What really stood out was how he made the effort to spend time with everyone individually, which made the experience feel far more personal. The whole team on the boat were brilliant as well, always friendly, professional, and happy to help. The service throughout was excellent and the food included was great. Felt like a luxury cruise. Were afraid from other reviews that the pictures would not match the boat but it was amazing. Nice staff and clean rooms, a lot of food was served and nice ambiance. Recommend this tour that also visits the quieter areas.

I went on a last minute trip with some friends - and it was amazing. Firstly, all of the staff were so friendly and helpful with a specific shout out to our tour guide Hung. He was so kind, informative, and very witty. He went above and beyond to make it an inclusive experience for everyone, he is a real treasure. The boat is beautiful. Think old-timey with intricate detailing throughout, and a lovely roof terrace to sit & chill and watch the world go by.
