Full description
This is a 2-day experience in Hanoi. It is run by SST Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.
The price covers Round-trip transfer by air-conditioned vehicle from Hanoi, local guide, 2 days of guided trekking through valleys, 1-night accommodation and Experience cycling through villages. It does not cover Personal expenses, Tips and gratuities, Drinks and Holiday surcharge applies, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
SST Travel sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with SST Travel before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Traveler Reviews
Loved the cycle around Mai Chau, and the cave in Pu Luong was breathtaking. Everyone organising the tour was so friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend two days, as the travel there/back is around 4ish hours.
