This is a experience from Hanoi, built around Begin your Ha Giang Loop adventure, Ride through Bac Sum Pass and Stop for Lunch in Yen Minh. Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. The motorbike tour around the Ha Giang loop was one of my favorite experiences in Vietnam. Our guide Sun, who was also my easy rider, shared many interesting facts about the landscape and local life in Ha Giang. He was always supportive, answered all questions and made sure that everyone in the group had a great time. I felt very save on the back of his bike as he was driving very responsibly. We also had a great time with our group (8 people) in the evenings with some games and karaoke without beeing extremely party-/alcohol-focused. We had the best experience doing the Ha Giang Loop. Our turguide Sy was very professional and friendly and was good at explaining and organizing the trip. Our drivers Lyon and Tom was also very professional and made us feel comfortable. They drove safely and treated us very well. The group became like a big family and we had so much fun together! One of the best experiences of my life! We went on the Ha Giang Loop with Chestnut Travel in a group of 5 and I was lucky to have Sỹ as my driver and tour guide. He was so kind, always smiling, knew English well, made everyone feel happy and included, told us interesting stories about the places we visited and was a very skilled driver.
