This is a 3-day experience in Hanoi, built around Bai Tu Long Bay and Dinner, Bai Tu Long Bay - Breakfast and Ha Long Bay to Hanoi/Ninh Binh. It is run by Halongbayluxcruises - Marvel Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The price covers English Tour guide, Deluxe Twin/Double Private Balcony Cabin, All entry fees, Luxury cruise through Halong bay & Bai Tu Long Bay and All meals on board. It does not cover Shuttle bus transfer $25 per person 2 ways, Single supplement extra surcharge $170 for solo travelers and Drinks, VAT, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Hanoi - Ha Long Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay – Cong Do – Cap La
08:00 – 8:30: The shuttle bus will pick you up from hotel. On the way, we will have a quick stop in the middle of the way to rest. (for customer book our transfer)
Ha Long Bay - Bai Tu Long Bay
11.30: Arrive in the office at Halong. Wait for the captain to finish the registration and transfer by tender to our boat.
Lunch and Visit Bai Tu Long Bay
12:00: Enjoy a welcome drink and spend a couple of minutes to briefing about safety on the boat and activities included then we check in the cabin. 13.30: Delicious Vietnamese set menu will be served while leisurely cruising further into Bai Tu Long Bay.
Visit Cap La Island Kayaking
15.00: Arrive in the kayaking area – that is Cap La Island. Enjoy kayaking through the karst and breathtaking nature, swimming, and relaxing. 17.30: Get back to the boat and enjoys a Sunset while our cruise sailing to the overnight anchorage.
Bai Tu Long Bay and Dinner
19.00: Sumptuous set dinner on board. 20.30: Free time to challenge yourself in Vietnamese puzzle games, or gathers your group/family for a board game; try your luck with squid fishing or simply have a cocktail and enjoy the quiet night on the bay.
Day 2: Vung Vieng Village – Cong Dam – Cong Do
06.00: Start your day with a Tai Chi routine on sundeck or catch a morning view of the stunning bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. 07.30: Breakfast will be served in Western style, familiar to you to fulfill your strength, and ready for another exploring day.
Visit Cong Dam Area
09.00: Transfer to a day cruise, we cruise passing several floating hamlets including Cap La and Cong Dam, we enter the Centre of pristine Bai Tu Long Geology Park. There, we will visit Vung Vieng fishing village to interact with local people. 12.00: Back to the boat for a delicious hot lunch at noontime 14.00: Spend more time kayaking and swimming at Cong Dam, or relaxing on the boat. If the weather allows, we can take a glance at Thay Cave before back to the anchor point.
Dinner On cruise
16.30: Return to the main boat and enjoy the sunset party afterward 19.00: Dinner will be served. 20.30: You may also try your luck with squid fishing.
Vung Vieng Village – Cong Dam – Cong Do

Visit Thien Canh Son Cave
08.00: Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave and enjoy a white sandy beach at Hon Co Island. The tour guide will provide some interesting stories of Ha Long Bay and this cave, made by Mother Nature.
Lunch On Boat - Back to the Port
09.00: Back to the boat to pack and check out of your cabin. Prepare to join in a traditional cooking demonstration. 10.30: Vietnamese cooking demonstration on boat. 11.00: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
Ha Long Bay to Hanoi/Ninh Binh
12.00: Disembark in Hon Gai pier. Farewell Halong Bay then returns to Hanoi 15.00: Finish your excursion

We received a complimentary upgrade to the orient legacy as our boat was undergoing maintenance. It meant that we saw Han la bay rather than Bai tu long but that was ok. The pick up was in a lovely bus, very comfortable, checkin was easy and Jenny was there to help us with any questions. Room was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Cruise was great! Jessica was always checking in via WhatsApp if everything was going well. Our cruise director Mr. Morning was great! It was a relaxing time aboard. Very nice views, lounging around. Nice visit to a floating village and kayaking on the second day. Also saw two caves. Food was great too. Cannot recommend it enough. Definitely opt for the 3 day one. If you do two days, you only get two half days aboard basically. It's great to have that extra full day doing activities and just completely relaxing with a cocktail.

The tour was generally great. The food was mostly excellent barring a few blips, and the trips off the boat were excellent. Room was very large and comfortable. There was a bit of itinerary confusion on the second day, but this didn't really impact. Main gripe would be the 30 minute "rest stop" on the 3 hour bus from Hanoi. The stop is only 30 minutes away from the port, and using the bathroom means you are forced to walk through a massive pearl shop, then hang around for ages.

Fantastische Landschaft, die man nur vom Boot aus erleben kann. komfortable Unterbringung, gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Die Aktivitäten sind schön, wobei ich mir persönlich gerne längere Kajakzeiten und ein bisschen mehr Schwimmmöglichkeiten wünschen würde.
Die gesamte Planung ist sehr straff durchorganisiert, um möglichst viel unterzubringen, und funktioniert sehr gut. Hierdurch kann es schonmal hektisch werden, man hat jedoch jederzeit die Möglichkeit, sich zurückzuziehen und herauszunehmen. Hunger und Durst haben keine Chance, da das Personal jederzeit zur Verfügung steht und man am Tag mindestens drei sehr ausgiebige (und leckere!!) Essen serviert bekommt. Die Preise für die Getränke liegen auf dem Schiff deutlich über jenen auf dem Festland, sind aber definitiv im Rahmen. Wir haben zwei Nächte gebucht und damit zu der Ausnahme gezählt (die m
Everything was fantastic! The food taste and presentation was great. The activities were awesome. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I love that this lication wasn't overcrowded and the peacefulness of the area was indescribable. Great trip!
Staff and customer service 5⭐️. Boat, pretty and the rooms were spacious and clean, not quite as spacious as the pictures. Hot water was practically radioactive and the cold would cut out with no warning creating a dangerous shower/bath. Activities were sparse- long list on the description actually is mostly drive-by with no attention drawn to it. Visit a fishing village- we just kayaked past, no visiting or interaction. Cooking class- just put out a bunch of ingredients and let me make a rice paper roll, same activity the next night but we’ll deep fry. Lots of ‘relax time’ code for we don’t h
