This is a 4-hour experience in Hanoi, built around Hanoi Old Quarter, Ngu Xa and Ba Dình District. It is run by Bike Tours Hanoi, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japanese food tours work because the best places are small, unmarked and full of regulars, and a guide who orders for you opens them. An izakaya crawl covers yakitori, sashimi, karaage and the local pours of sake, shochu and highballs across three or four counters in an evening; a ramen walk explains the broths, tonkotsu, shoyu, miso and shio, and the regional styles. Most places seat eight to twelve and tours run six to eight guests for that reason. Vegetarians should say so when booking, because dashi stock is fish and hidden in almost everything; halal-certified options exist but are fewer.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely amazing experience! This was a fantastic tour and one of the highlights of our time in Hanoi. We did a lot of sightseeing around the city at night and got to try truly authentic Vietnamese dishes that we would never have found on our own.
