it was amazing! the temple was beautiful even in the rain, be prepared for a long hike up the mountain, bur its so worth it. the tea farm was so cool, seeing the dedication to the craft. lunch was an amazing experience
It was a wonderful day trip! We learned a lot about the temples, Vietnamese history, and green tea farms. Our guide, Nathan, was fantastic—he shared a lot of great information and was very welcoming and kind. The green tea farm was a highlight with learning about the family history and green tea process there. We had a delicious lunch too! We highly recommend this and are grateful for such a good guide.
We had a wonderful day on this tour. Ming was an excellent tour guide (and trainee Nam). Both provided good support and made me feel comfortable. We arrived at Ba Vi National Park and luckily after days of extreme heat it was a little cooler which made the walk to the top, the pagoda and a Ho Chi Minh Temple and views, easier to reach. After 5 weeks of hot temperatures I was excited to challenge myself to the 1229 steps. (the steps are evenly spaced and standard height). We got open views from 1/3 lookouts so we're also lucky. After leaving here we briefly went to an abandon French church whic
It was a great excursion for one day to go out of the craziness of Hanoi. We had the chance to discover a tee farm with their lovely owners, which were a war veteran and spoke about his experiences. Our gide Sang was really good and very nice ! He was able to explain us everything of the tour but also on Vietnam, answered all our questions. Really recommanded if you want to do something nature and non touristic.
The mythological tales that we learnt from Tee, our guide were extremely interesting, as well as taking part in the more mundane parts of Vietnamese life, like picking and drying tea, and talking to a fascinating local hero, also it was the first time in our trip that we found authentic, delicious local food, from the mythological heights of mountains, to the everyday life of a wise old man, his family and tea farm, this trip was the perfect insight into life in Hanoi.
