This is a 3.5-hour experience in Hanoi. It is run by Backstreet Adventure Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Vegetarians should say so when booking, because dashi stock is fish and hidden in almost everything; halal-certified options exist but are fewer.

Fantastic evening tour with a great driver. Gina was so informative and we learned much about the history of Hanoi, local foods and culture. The dishes we had were delicious and filling and Train Street was amazing too. Thank you Gina for being so attentive and informative highly recommend for anyone wanting an overview of iconic landmarks, a taste of the countryside, good food and a good guide. This was a fantastic trip. Tyson took us to some great food places that we would never have found, then out to Banana Island to meet some food growers, then finally to the famous Train Street. He was great fun, knowledgeable and very helpful
