This is a 4-hour experience in Hanoi. It is run by Backstreet Adventure Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
A private day with a driver-guide is the way to see the most of a Japanese city or region in one day, because it removes the transfers between sights that eat a third of the day on public transport. Prices are usually per vehicle for up to a set number of guests rather than per person, and cover the car, fuel, tolls and the guide; entrance fees and lunch are paid as you go unless the listing says otherwise. Japanese guides are licensed for the work and typically punctual to the minute. Give the operator your priorities, and expect them to reorder the day around opening hours and crowds; that is what you are paying for.

The tour was such a nice activity to do in Hanoi. Since the city isn’t always the easiest to explore on foot, it was a great way to discover it in a more authentic, local way. The Hanoi Military Jeep tour was excellent. Our guide Minh and driver Hung did a great job. We loved the visit to a hoe on Banana Island with a local family. We would definitely recommend this tour.
