This is a 12-hour experience from Ho Chi Minh City, built around Bus/coach, Mekong River and Cai Rang Floating Market. It is run by FME travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Pickup is offered from Bình Tân, La Vela Saigon Hotel, La Opera Saigon Hotel, 43 Đ. Nguyễn Cư Trinh, Western Bus Station and District 1; the exact spot and time are agreed with FME travel once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Pick up at the lobby of your hotel or meeting point in city, excellent English speaking guide, Transportations, Sampan and Breakfast. It does not cover Gifts, Alcoholic drinks and French speaking guide with extra fee $8, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Unser Guide Daisy, unser Fahrer und unsere Boots-Frau waren wirklich sehr nett und alles hat prima geklappt. Die Nudelfabrik und die Cacao Farm waren auch sehr interessant. Auf dem Markt haben wir lecker gefrühstückt. Die Ananas war auch sehr toll. Einzig die Rückfahrt mit dem Boot von 1h auf dem Fluss ist etwas lang. Vielleicht könnte man die Abholung in der Nähe der Cacao Farmmoder das Floating Makets machen.
The trip went smoothly with a nice driver from HCM. The guide (French speaker) gave us enough explanation and answered any questions we had. The boat driver on the Mékong river and canal was a nice Lady.
This tour was amazing. Definitely worth the early morning wake up to experience the sunrise on the water. Our guide Edward was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He explained all about the different boats and the way the floating market works. He knows so much about the local plants as well. We loved having coffee, breakfast, and fruit out in the water. The other parts of the tour were equally fun and informative. We got to try making noodles and then visited a cocoa farm where we tried the best, real chocolate. I highly recommend this tour and am so glad this is how we got to spend the mor
The tour was great, my guide was super nice and told me a lot about the area and answered my questions. I had a nice breakfast on the lake and to see tue production of rice noodles and cacao was quite interesting. I recommend the tour.
The whole process was amazing! Edward was amazing the whole time. We saw the whole floating market, had breakfast and coffee in the market, and then the boat across the canals was great and the cocoa farm was absolutely eye-opening and fascinating! We loved the cultural aspect of the tour. Our boat driver and tour guide were absolutely amazing and our family had an amazing time.
Abbiamo fatto l’escursione privata ed è stata meravigliosa. Ci sono tanti tour ma questo è davvero autentico e ci ha fatto scoprire tantissime cose interessanti, oltre a mangiare moltissimo cibo squisito! Vale la pena alzarsi così presto perché vedere l’alba sul Mekong è un’esperienza unica!
Tout ce que je souhaitais voir était au programme. La visite était authentique et c'était très intéressant de voir le marché flottant. Les canaux du mekong étaient très beaux. Le trajet était un peu long mais c'était la seule opportunité en un jour d'excursion. la production de nouilles et de cacao était très bien aussi.
