This is a 11-hour experience in Ho Chi Minh City, built around Cu Chi Tunnels, River boat and Tien Giang Province. It is run by KIM TRAVEL, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The price covers Hotel pickup and drop-off in central Districts 1, 3, Air-conditioned transport by minivan or bus, English-speaking guide, Mekong River motorboat and sampan rides and Tuk tuk or electric car ride in coconut village. It does not cover Personal Expenses and Gratuities, so budget for those separately. An excellent tour - it was well organised and packed with many interesting things to do. Our guide, Jackie, is very personable and knowledgeable and he looked after us really well. Especially his explanations during our Cu Chi visit were captivating and we walked away having learnt so much about the Vietnam war. The organisers are also really good with some little touches, like providing some water and snacks for example. We also appreciated their flexibility with pick up and drop off locations.
This is a fantastic way to spend the day and better understand what makes Vietnam a beautiful place to visit. The mix of culture and history throughout the day leaves a lasting impact on every person. Hugo was an amazing tour guide! His mix of humor and knowledge made the whole day unforgettable.
