This is a 3.5-hour experience in Ho Chi Minh City, built around Ho Chi Minh City. It is run by VIETNAM STREET FOODS TOUR, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Japanese food tours work because the best places are small, unmarked and full of regulars, and a guide who orders for you opens them. An izakaya crawl covers yakitori, sashimi, karaage and the local pours of sake, shochu and highballs across three or four counters in an evening; a ramen walk explains the broths, tonkotsu, shoyu, miso and shio, and the regional styles. Most places seat eight to twelve and tours run six to eight guests for that reason. Vegetarians should say so when booking, because dashi stock is fish and hidden in almost everything; halal-certified options exist but are fewer.

Amazing tour!!!!! Cindy and Bean were incredible guides, super friendly and took us to some amazing food spots we would never have been to ourselves. They were great drivers on the motorbikes and I felt very safe with them. We mentioned some foods we have tried previously and liked and they made sure to take us to some great local spots that do them. Really highly recommend to book this tour!! Thank you

We had an amazing time with Minh, Duy, Hnam (Ryan) on our food tour! We had a private tour through the city, which made transportation very easy. The guides were very knowledgeable about Vietnam’s food and history, and it was very fun to learn about their lives. They were also very eager to share recommendations for the remainder of our trip. The food was also very delicious and seemed to be tailored to our preferences. I absolutely recommend!

I highly recommend this tour! Our guides Kai and Tyra were very personable and knowledgeable! They answered all our questions about the culture, the city, and the dishes we were trying. Driving was very safe and they kept us dry despite the torrential downpour.

I had a great time on this street food tour! My guide Harris was incredibly kind, attentive, and reliable. He took me around to some great spots and gave me lots of delicious local snacks to try. He also shared interesting stories about the country, its history, and culture along the way. And a special bonus: he always made sure I crossed the streets safely and didn’t get run over by one of the many scooters! 😄 Highly recommended!

Jerry was a great tour guide. It was nice to try to speak Vietnamese to him (I don't speak well lol), but he was patient and tried to help me. The food was amazing and getting driven around on a moped through various local areas of HCMC so much fun.
