Full description
This is a 3.5-hour experience in Ho Chi Minh City. It is run by VIVA VIETNAM, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japanese craft classes are taught by practitioners who have usually done the craft for decades, and they teach it properly: calligraphy begins with how to hold the brush and grind the ink; pottery on the wheel produces a cup that is fired and posted to you weeks later; ikebana teaches the three-line structure of a Sogetsu or Ikenobo arrangement; indigo dyeing and washi papermaking are done in the workshops of the towns that specialise in them. Classes run one to three hours, materials are included, and most welcome children with a parent.
The price covers All materials and One rug to take home. It does not cover Transportation and Personal expense, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Das war ein wirklich toller Workshop! Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr nett und immer sehr hilfreich! Alle anderen teilnehmenden waren auch sehr happy! Nächstes Mal würden wir für einen größeren Teppich wieder kommen :) Als Tipp: kommt mit einer leichten Vorlage mit Max. 3 Farben - alles andere ist für die Größe und den Schwierigkeit zu stark Gegenüber ist ein tolles Café mit leckerem Kaffe und Tee

This class was soooo fun! My boyfriend and I had the class room to ourselves and we had totally creative liberty. The only down fall was that my tufting gun and shaver, for after wards , didn’t work so well. But the tools my boyfriend had worked great! Highly recommend!
