Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

Wat een leuke tour/avond hebben we gehad met Tom, TIAAA en Nam. We hebben gelachen, geproefd (papaya salad 😋), leuke markten en andere interessante plekken gezien. Onze tour was om 18 uur, dus soms was iets niet meer open, maar wij konden niet meer op een ander tijdstip. Veel informatie van Tom over de wijken, cultuur en geschiedenis. Kortom voor ons een Top avond! Thank you guys!
