This is a 3.5-hour experience in Ho Chi Minh City. It is run by SAIGON ADVENTURE COMPANY LIMITED, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japanese food tours work because the best places are small, unmarked and full of regulars, and a guide who orders for you opens them. An izakaya crawl covers yakitori, sashimi, karaage and the local pours of sake, shochu and highballs across three or four counters in an evening; a ramen walk explains the broths, tonkotsu, shoyu, miso and shio, and the regional styles. Most places seat eight to twelve and tours run six to eight guests for that reason. Vegetarians should say so when booking, because dashi stock is fish and hidden in almost everything; halal-certified options exist but are fewer.

We had a great time with Helen and her team. We saw lots of different areas and tried food we otherwise wouldn’t have tried. They were safe drivers, with excellent English and good with our young children
We had the most amazing time in this tour. The food was unique and tasty, that’s for sure, but what made the experience worth it for us was the hospitality and warmth of our companions. The ladies were all so fun, and made sure that we went back with our bellies and hearts full. Special thanks to my and my friend’s riders’ Nhi and Stacy, who made us feel so much at home. This was a great experience, a great way to explore local culture. our guides Francis and Marianna were knowledgeable and great riders, felt safe all the time. I would recommend doing this tour on the 6pm slot as it will be cooler than the afternoon slot. My wife and love being on the back of a scooter. There is a half walking, half riding, so take comfortable footwear. the experience lasted approximately 2.5hrs with pick up and return to our hotel. some of the spots were touristy, while others felt more local. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it.

Even after three weeks in Vietnam I discovered new food and learned some interesting facts about the history of Saigon. Rae was a great guide and Vinh (Antonius) the perfect driver, always felt safe and he was always in for a chat

We really enjoyed this activity. Daniel and his team were really nice and they made sure we did not lack of anything throughout the evening. I was the only vegetarian in our group and Daniel made sure I had something to eat at every stop, even thought most of the street food did have meat in it. Our favorite part was definitely the scooter ride, such a nice way to discover the city. Thank you!

We had the most wonderful evening motorbiking the streets of Ho Chi Minh and eating delicious food. It was the perfect amount of time on the bike, eating and exploring the area. All of the guides were super lovely and always happy to answer any questions or just chat about life! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun tour in HCMC. We found it was the perfect amount of food, we were full but not too full as stops were spaced out! They also picked us up from our hotel which made things much easier.
