Full description
This is a experience in Hoi An. It is run by Faifo Hospitality, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japanese cooking classes usually build a meal around dashi, the kombu and bonito stock that sits under miso soup, simmered dishes and noodle broths, and then one or two headline dishes: rolled sushi or nigiri, gyoza, tempura, okonomiyaki, or a bento box. Wagashi classes make the seasonal sweets served with tea from sweet bean paste. Most classes run two to three hours in a home kitchen or a small studio, and vegetarian versions replace the bonito with a kombu-shiitake dashi. You eat what you make, and Japanese teachers are precise about technique.

This was a really sweet morning activity and the people hosting it were super lovely. We did get to cook a few things but at some points I felt like we maybe cook have helped a tiny bit more with chopping or even food that needs more cooking. Overall still definitely recommend!
A wonderful cooking experience in a beautiful garden! The garden at Caman Village was beautiful, spacious, and peaceful. What I appreciated most was that all the activities took place in the same location, so we could explore the garden, harvest ingredients, cook, and relax without having to travel between different places. The cooking class was enjoyable and well organized, and the herbal foot soak was one of my favorite parts of the experience. Caman Village was also conveniently located and easy to reach. A relaxing and memorable experience that I would highly recommend!
The best cooking class experience in Caman Village - Hoi an This was one of the best experiences we had in Hoi An. It was my first time visiting such a large and beautiful organic garden, picking fresh herbs and vegetables myself, and then using them to prepare our own meal. This made the cooking class feel truly special and much more authentic than simply cooking in a kitchen. The class was very well organized, and every dish was explained clearly step by step. We were impressed to learn that the instructor is an experienced chef from a five-star hotel. His professional skills, patience, and
