This is a 1-hour experience in Hoi An. It is run by La Ban Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Sumo has six fifteen-day tournaments a year, in Tokyo in January, May and September, Osaka in March, Nagoya in July and Fukuoka in November; tickets for the top division from about 15:00 are the hard ones to get. Outside tournaments, morning practice at a stable can be watched with a guide who knows which stables allow it and the strict etiquette. Kabuki at the Kabukiza in Ginza sells single-act tickets on the day for an hour of the four-hour programme, with an English earphone guide. Baseball at the Tokyo Dome or Koshien is a summer evening with the crowd's synchronised chants.
