This is a 2.5-hour experience in Hoi An. It is run by Hoi An Friends Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Sumo has six fifteen-day tournaments a year, in Tokyo in January, May and September, Osaka in March, Nagoya in July and Fukuoka in November; tickets for the top division from about 15:00 are the hard ones to get. Outside tournaments, morning practice at a stable can be watched with a guide who knows which stables allow it and the strict etiquette. Kabuki at the Kabukiza in Ginza sells single-act tickets on the day for an hour of the four-hour programme, with an English earphone guide. Baseball at the Tokyo Dome or Koshien is a summer evening with the crowd's synchronised chants.

I loved the personal service from my lovely Thuy she was very informative. took pictures. the boat trip and the lantern candle was very special. I loved the memories show, the set up was great. beautiful lighting and just felt so magical. definitely recommend.
Thui was excellent all round. Contact before the day, meeting point was clear, guided us through short cuts to our boat and the memories show, answered local questions, took lots of photographs of us which she shared, provided us with lanterns to make a wish on the boat, and I could go on. Had a great time with Thuy! Such a good vibe from her when she showed up and was great to just let her lead the way through the chaos of all the boats and crowds to the show. Appreciated having her help with photos and especially when some non-English speakers gave us trouble at the show! Thuy was an amazing guide. We were late due to transportation issues and she went out of her way to ensure we still received the full experience. She even made sure we got prime seats for the show towards the top. The night we went, there was intermittent rain and the venue provided free ponchos. I highly recommend this activity.

This was a good combo of the lantern boat ride from he old town to the moon bridge where you walk across to the memories show. It meant we got a longer ride in the lantern boats than the standard ones. We got to release lanterns and then she sorted our tickets and held some good seats for us. Just know that rain or shine the show will go on. We experienced some pretty heavy rain, thunder and lightning but were given plastic ponchos and some people went up higher undercover. The show was incredible either way. I recommend this tour
