Market Tour, Basket Boat Ride and Cooking Class by Hangcoconut in Hoi An

Lucy was a nice guide through my 1 on 1 cooking class, very pleasent and clear. She has good attitude, has always checked if I understand everything and took some photos of me while cooking. We were preparing and cooking for an hour and cooked a loot of delicious food. Would recommend this activity to fulfill your day and experience in Hoi an!

Great amount of food for the price I paid, and had an amazing guide (Lele) which ended up being a 1-to-1 session so got loads of help and attention, especially when I struggled to flip things in the pan and dropped it everywhere! Lele was really nice and explained the different meals and ingredients. I made 3 spring rolls, 3 pancakes, a large plate of banana salad and a large plate of noodles. Had lots left to take home to eat later too.

Cooking: The class was fun and the food we prepared was very delicious. Many things were already prepared so we could just cook and learn about preparation and seasoning. Lucy was very cute and friendly. Basket Boat: Personally, I would not recommend going on the boat ride. The boatmen and women tried way too hard to entertain the tourists by singing western songs and forcing performance. To be honest I felt very uncomfortable because I was just expecting a relaxed and kind of authentic boat ride. But the atmosphere seemed very staged and forced.

We had a great day ! Our guides were excellent! And Lucy was a perfect cooking class instructor. All the food was delicious!

Fantastic! We learnt so much about natural dyes and where the colours come from. We dyed our own silk scarves and then got to try Thai clothing. Would recommend :)

We have taken a lot of cooking classes, this one was the best by far! Khang Vi was an amazing guide through the marked and showed us amazing how to cook The market tour was held in smaller groups wich was verry nice so you learned stuff. The boat ride was a nice added bonus, doing just the boat ride would probably be boring though. The class itself was also verry fun and held well

I had the cooking class with Lucy and she along with the rest of the staff were awesome. Food was really delicious too. Learned a lot!!

We did the cooking class only and highly recommend it. Well organised, cooked lots of yummy food and our instructor Vi was excellent. This course was a highlight of our time in Vietnam for our family with teenagers, a 9year old (who Vi was great with) and my husband who likes cooking. We made spring rolls, pancakes, salad and stir fry.

I did this experience with my mate and it was mint. The food was genuinely delicious, you are well guided through the cooking experience and our host (Thuy) was so helpful. Definitely recommend

Today, we had the opportunity to explore the Vietnamit cuisine with Lucy. She was very knowledgeable about the gastronomy of Vietnam, explained us very detailedly each step of the recipe and overall she was very patient and generous when teaching us how to prepare delicious food! At the end we could enjoy the food we prepared, which was delicious! Highly recommended experience if you want to learn in depth about Vietnamit cuisine! 😁

The whole experience was 10 stars. Thuy was amazing. From meeting us at our location early in the market to taking us through and explaining the wet markets, letting us try the fruits and then the coconut snacks and salt coffee Vietnam has to offer, we truly felt like we were long time friends on the tour. The food we cooked was wonderful and Thuy was super accomodating when my husband had to leave early as he fell ill from prior day activities. This was our best experience in Hoi An and we were so grateful to Thuy and the team to make it feel so special to us on our honeymoon. We want to come
