This is a 5-hour experience in Hoi An. It is run by My Son Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Sumo has six fifteen-day tournaments a year, in Tokyo in January, May and September, Osaka in March, Nagoya in July and Fukuoka in November; tickets for the top division from about 15:00 are the hard ones to get. Outside tournaments, morning practice at a stable can be watched with a guide who knows which stables allow it and the strict etiquette. Kabuki at the Kabukiza in Ginza sells single-act tickets on the day for an hour of the four-hour programme, with an English earphone guide. Baseball at the Tokyo Dome or Koshien is a summer evening with the crowd's synchronised chants.
Pickup is offered from Hoi An and Da Nang; the exact spot and time are agreed with My Son Tour once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.

It does not cover Entrance to My Son Sanctuary is not included and costs, so budget for those separately. Tony was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, friendly and spoke English very well. The van was very nice and clean and the driver An was good. You can tell Tony enjoys his job as a guide and sharing Vietnamese history with others. Highly recommend this tour. Definitely worth the early morning to beat the crowds and the heat.
The My Son Sanctuary tour was very interesting and enriching. Our guide, Tony, was extremely knowledgeable he didn’t just guide us through the site, he gave us a real history lesson. You can truly tell how passionate he is about the subject, which made the experience even more engaging. The noodles served for lunch were delicious, and the boat ride at the end was the perfect way to finish the tour.

Great day out with our guide Amy. Started the day with rice paper making which was a fun way to get to know the group. Amy provided a lot of knowledge at the sanctuary and the boat ride was a fun relaxing way to end the day
The trip was great. Our tour guide Van was so informative and lovely. He was a highlight. Additionally, along with the obvious beauty of My Son, the local rice paper making was really cool. My Son Sanctuary was packed with tourists, but that's just a part of it I guess.
We enjoyed this trip even though it was really hot day. The show inside od My Son was very beautiful 🙂
