This is a 2-hour experience in Hoi An. It is run by Hoi An Eco Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The price covers guide, Village, Park, Pottery making, Traditional pot breaking game and Tea break with cookies and coconut coffee/soft drink. It does not cover Hotel pickup and drop-off, Additional food and drinks and Holiday booking fee, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Very good tour and very informative. Our tour guide was excellent. We had tour of the museum, got to make pottery on the wheel with help of course. Had tour of the village and got to see a few locals working with the clay. All very talented. Did the pot breaking game which was awesome and then final tour of the miniature gardens. Highly recommend
This was an absolutely amazing experience, between learning the history of pottery villages around Vietnam, making our own pottery, playing a traditional game and the lovely tour round the village, we were an awesome the entire time. This experience deserves 6 out of 5 stars 🤩
This was possibly my favorite activity from my entire Vietnam trip! I learned so much about traditional pottery making from the museum tour, the hands on pottery making with the experts, and visiting the Legends in their workshop! The pieces were so beautiful and I love the souvenirs that came with the experience as well as the souvenirs I bought from the Legends. Our guide Hoa was really nice and made sure all guests’ needs were taken care of! Definitely recommend!
Nice tour of the museum and history of the many pottery villages. Made our own pots and played a pot smashing game. We then toured the village and saw many shops. Our guide was very nice and even gave us gifts. Thanks so much!!
It was amazing!! The terracotta park was a wonderful experience made even more special by our tour guide Ly, who was incredibly informative and amazing to us. Thank you Ly for your gifts, but mostly for your time in showing us the excellently designed art gallery and museum, plus the wider park. And what an epic miniature world there is!
This was such a fun tour!!! My friend and I got a private tour with Ly. She was incredible, kind, funny, and spoke great English. We toured through the museum, village, and got to make our own pots! (No experience needed!!) we even got to participate in a pot breaking game! I highly recommend this tour and highly recommend Ly!!💛
We did the tour with Dung, she was a great guide. She was super informative and answered our many questions. We were surprised that the tour was private for just me and my husband. We really liked touring the museum and the village. It was amazing how intricate the clay pieces were. Would definitely recommend!
The museum we towed was very interesting and the village was super cool to see. Of course we got to make some pottery ourselves and we got to keep it. Finally we got to smash some pottery at the end for a little cherry on top of a great adventure

I’ve learnt so much about clay, Vietnam culture and Thanh Ha village (terracotta village). The highlight for me is the game we played at last and the tour around the clay made monuments!
The tour was absolutely fantastic! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the history come alive. The small workshop was a real highlight and very well organized. We even received a small gift at the end, which rounded off the experience perfectly. Highly recommended – we were super happy!
We booked this as a last minute activity, and we are so glad we did as it became one of the favourite things we did in Hoi An. Ly was a great guide and it was really interesting to learn about the different types of pottery. There was a variety of activities and it was really interactive after the museum section which I wasn't expecting. Came away with loads of treats!
