This is a 1-hour experience in Hoi An. It is run by hoang thien travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japanese craft classes are taught by practitioners who have usually done the craft for decades, and they teach it properly: calligraphy begins with how to hold the brush and grind the ink; pottery on the wheel produces a cup that is fired and posted to you weeks later; ikebana teaches the three-line structure of a Sogetsu or Ikenobo arrangement; indigo dyeing and washi papermaking are done in the workshops of the towns that specialise in them. Classes run one to three hours, materials are included, and most welcome children with a parent.

Es war super! Unsere Tochter hatte den Kurs letztes Jahr hier gemacht und davon geschwärmt. Wir hatten den Coconut Coffee und den Salted und die Zubereitung von beiden war sehr lustig und beide waren sehr lecker. Wir bekamen ein Stativ, um unser Handy fest aufzubauen, damit wir von uns beim Kaffee zubereiten ein Video machen konnten. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal für den schönen Nachmittag.
Wonderful way to pass a rainy afternoon. We signed up to make 3 coffees… although I was glad to learn to make them it was ALOT of richness/caffeine in a short period. They kindly offered to substitute chocolate drink for my last coffee… highly recommend !

Toller Kurs und super leckerer Kaffee. Sehr nettes und kompetentes Personal. Hat wirklich viel Spaß gemacht. Ein bisschen mehr Hintergrund Wissen hätte aber gerne noch vermittelt werden können.
