This is a 2-day experience in Sapa. It is run by Vietnam Nomadtrails, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japanese cooking classes usually build a meal around dashi, the kombu and bonito stock that sits under miso soup, simmered dishes and noodle broths, and then one or two headline dishes: rolled sushi or nigiri, gyoza, tempura, okonomiyaki, or a bento box. Wagashi classes make the seasonal sweets served with tea from sweet bean paste. Most classes run two to three hours in a home kitchen or a small studio, and vegetarian versions replace the bonito with a kombu-shiitake dashi. You eat what you make, and Japanese teachers are precise about technique.
The price covers Sightseeing fee, 01 Breakfast, 01 Lunch, 01 Dinner and 01 litre of water per person. It does not cover Soft drinks, VAT, Tips and Surcharge for a single cabin sleeping bus, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Vietnam Nomadtrails sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Vietnam Nomadtrails before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

This was an amazing experience. The host was so welcoming, the cooking class was really fun (made with ingredients grown at the homestay) and they made it vegan for me too. Great view from the homestay. Would definitely stay here again.

J’ai passée deux jours extraordinaires. Tout le monde était génial merci à Dong et sa famille qui nous a accueilli à merveille, on a été ravis, reconnaissant d’avoir vécue une expérience tel qu’elle ! Le logement était incroyable ! Je recommande à 1000 % !

It’s ok. Would have been better. The pick up and bus were late in the morning so I didn’t have the chance to do the Fansipan the day of arrival in Sapa as stated in the description of the activity. So I had to change my activity the next morning with extra pay obviously. The details are not precise, for example there are no foot massage at all in the homestay and learn the culture. The agency answers late, so I advice to contact them a day ahead.
trop d'interlocuteurs dans l'organisation : ce qui à engendré une déperdition d'informations (points de rendez -vous à l' arrivée et au retour notamment). Regret également de ne pas avoir le temps,au retour de la balade de prendre une bonne douche avant le retour vers Hanoï (comme indiqué pourtant dans la description)
