This is a 2-day experience in Sapa. It is run by LALA SAPA TREKKING & HOMESTAY., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

The price covers Live tour guide, Lunch on both days, Dinner on Day 1, Breakfast on Day 2 and Homestay accommodation. It does not cover Drinks and Motorbike or car if you want stop in the middle way and, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Could not recommend this trek more!! Lala, Su and their family were so friendly and welcoming, it’s like staying with friends. The trek itself was incredibly beautiful and they taught us so much about the land and its traditions. The homestay is so clean, comfy and the food (and happy water) is amazing. 100% recommend to everybody visiting Sapa - thank you so so much Lala!! We had the best time.

We absolutely loved this wholesome 2 day trekking tour! Our guides - Lala and Su were both exceptional. Showing and teaching us all about their culture in Sapa - we both learnt so much. The scenes were beautiful, food delicious and the homestay was perfect. Couldn’t recommend enough🌞💛⭐️🌾

We had an incredible time with Lala, Su, and the children! The tour was amazing we saw so many animals, met local people, and learned how they make their clothing. We also discovered so much about the food, plants, and flowers, and how they make use of everything nature provides. They spoke excellent English and had wonderful stories to tell about literally everything: the history and war of Vietnam, as well as its nature and culture.
