Good tour with Mai, a local vietnamese. I had good chats with her. You have plenty time to take pictures and do stops where you want. In May, people are planting rice, a good occasion to see the process and do it yourself if you want to try. Some villages are more touristic than other, I appreciate to do less touristic village and see more authentic local life like peoples cutting wood for winter, crafting traditional clothes, school, rice fields.. Like Sapa, you must be prepared to see many child and women selling you things regularly. One or two will probably follow you on your hike. They in
What a truly amazing trip, the memories and photos will last a life time. The 2 guides (Su Su and Ai) were fantastic, very friendly, chatty and knowledgeable. All the transport, accommodation and meals were perfect.
Nothing to worry about, everything is well organised, very nice people and small group for the hiking. Great experience!
We enjoyed all the activities immensely including the overnight sleeper train. This package that we booked did not include the cable car to Fansipan so we have to top up additional but we were glad that we did. The 2 days trek at Sapa was great. We really enjoyed the whole experience even though some part of the trek can be challenging. We were very lucky to have Phu (May) as our guide. She was very helpful, friendly and engaging throughout the trip. Hence we learnt alot of the local culture which makes the trip very educational, fruitful and fun.
I was disappointed that our meals did not include a drink. I believe that in the least a bottle of water should have been included.
Phu was a wonderful guide. Very interactive, captivating and gave us an interesting tour of the area. She also matched our pace when my parents needed more time to walk. Overall the sapa tour was a very wonderful journey
I had the best time in Sapa. The weather was sunny, but not hot like in Hanoi, so very comfortable for trekking. Our guide, Chu is very friendly and knowledgeable. I want to discover the daily life of local people, that's why I chose this tour to stay at homestay. Everyone was friendly and easy-going. Food was so yummy. Berths on the train look like your bed at home, so interesting and easy to sleep. Definitely recommend this tour !
I had a wonderful time in Sapa. Train was really interesting which made me sleep very well. It was very comfortable with soft berth and air-conditioning. Jenny - travel consultant was very helpful. She answered all my questions quickly, even at 5:00am early morning, when I didn't see my guide at train station, I called for her and she arranged everything perfect. Food was so yummy! The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Sapa was so beautiful that I wished I had more time there. Homestay was very clean and nice. Local people welcome us friendly. I will come back Sapa in the future soon
The activities were excellent 👍🏽👍🏽 It was an experience that we’ll never forget. I would rate this as Excellent if only the overnight train was not as noisy & bumpy. Using the toilet was challenging 😂 The limousine bus was really good though. The driver even dropped us off at the hotel. Our Hmong guides were all very good. We added the Fansipan Mountain visit, a must see! We would love to visit Sapa again but this time, a little longer. There's so much more to be seen.
I had a wonderful time, a very rewarding time, thanks to those three days in Sapa. Everything is optimised to show the best places in the region and give you the best possible visit. The treks are quite demanding, especially with heavy showers, but it's worth it. Only I was a bit lost because as a solo traveller and the only one to have started the tour on this day, I was with different people and different guides every day without my meeting points necessarily being explained to me. I recommend this superb experience!
The tour itself was good, but for the amount of money we pay for these tours, the local guides only get like $8 per day pay, so I personally dont know if this one was worth it. Perhaps its better to book a tour with your hotel, and research the best tour operator who pays the guides better. Also, no drinks are included with any of the meals, they all have to be paid for. And when you arrive back to Hanoi, you do not get a transfer back to the hotel, that was an annoying inconvenience to find out at 4am, when a bunch of drivers are swarming around you, trying to overcharge you. As well as that,
Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Wir können die Tour sehr empfehlen.
