This is a 3-day experience in Sapa. It is run by Cheers Hostel and Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.
The price covers Transportation: Sleeper bus and limousine bus, Meals: 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, tour guide and local rider, Helmet and Entrance fee tickets and selected activities. It does not cover Drinks, Single supplement: Extra 10$/night/person, Private room on arrival and Big Bike Upgrade: Extra $45, so budget for those separately. Weather
This runs outdoors, so the operator can call it off for rain, wind or sea conditions, and that decision is usually made on the day. If they cancel, you choose: another date, or your money back in full. We do not keep a booking fee on a tour that did not run.

The best thing I have ever done in my life!! Don’t look at any other company, these guys give best accommodation, Amazing food, but most of all the drivers!! They were fab! They know best stops and if you want a real Cultural experience, this is the tour you choose!
Motorcycles are a bit uncomfortable- while you do get plenty of breaks, I think everyone should get a large motorcycle by default for a wider / more cushy seat. Everyone should also be given a helmet with a visor as it can get really dusty (&windy) and that helps. They said they ll provide knee / elbow pads but these were never offered. Drivers and guide were great, extremely attentive and always helpful. Meals in general were quite generous but if you are vegetarian variety won’t be great. Sleeper bus on the way there - quite small but that’s to be expected unfortunately
it was definitely great tour. Khanh was absolutely an wonderful guide. he helped a lot during trip, such as arranging, showing around, telling some stories behind and taking lots of beautiful pictures. I highly recommend this tour. all the other guide riders are amazing too. I had so much fun with all of it.
