This is a 3-day experience in Sapa. It is run by Hanoi Explore Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

Die Tour war echt super, alles gut organisiert und entspannt. Besonders gut hat mir das Trekking durch die Reisterassen gefallen. Unser lieber Guide hat mir alles beantworten können und war sehr hilfsbereit :) Beim Fansipan hatte man nicht genug Zeit die Attraktionen zu machen aber das war ok. Ich kann es jedem besten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

I have mixed feelings about this ‘tour’. Firstly, the bus didn’t collect me from my hotel. After I messaged the company they sent a car 45 mins later to take me to meet a waiting bus already on the way to Sapa. I wouldn’t have minded so much if they were honest about the mistake but instead they said the bus was running late picking up other people then there were bus issues… not true! This is NOT a small group tour as described where you have 1 guide & stay with a group. It’s a fragmented, mix & match of people who have booked day trips within your ‘tour’.
