This is a 3-day experience in Sapa, built around Ta Van Village, Lao Chai Village and Y Linh Ho Village. It is run by Ethnic Community Cultural Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

The price covers 3 days of guided trekking, 2 nights in a private bungalow in Ta Van Village, Traditional Vietnamese meals, Visits to ethnic minority villages and Scenic mountain trails. It does not cover Transportation to and from Sapa, Personal expenses and Travel insurance, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Begin your adventure in Sapa town and leave the busy streets behind as you follow your local guide into the mountains. Start the trek toward Ham Rong and continue through Hang Da and Sau Chua, where quiet mountain paths lead through terraced rice fields, forests and traditional ethnic villages. As you walk higher and deeper into the mountains, enjoy panoramic views across the valleys and surrounding Hoang Lien Son ran

Ta Van Village

Continue trekking toward Ta Van Village, nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by rice terraces and green mountains. Check in to your private bungalow and take time to relax after the trek. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, fresh mountain air and beautiful views from your accommodation.

Lao Chai Village

Wake up to the peaceful sounds of the mountains and enjoy breakfast at your bungalow before beginning another day of trekking. Follow your local guide from Ta Van through the surrounding rice terraces and mountain trails toward Lao Chai. This area is home to H’mong communities and is known for its spectacular terraced landscapes carved into the mountainsides over generations.

Y Linh Ho Village

Take your time to enjoy the scenery and observe everyday village life along the way. Depending on the season, the terraces may appear bright green, golden or freshly planted, creating a constantly changing landscape. Continue toward Y Linh Ho, following quieter trails through the valley and passing traditional houses, streams and rice fields. This less-traveled route offers a chance to experience a more peaceful side of Sapa away from the busiest tourist paths.

Giang Ta Chai

After breakfast, begin your final trekking day with your local guide. Leave Ta Van behind and follow mountain trails toward Giang Ta Chai, a beautiful area surrounded by forests, streams and terraced rice fields. Along the way, discover the landscape and traditional villages of the Red Dao and other local communities.

Bamboo Forest

Continue through a peaceful bamboo forest, following narrow trails surrounded by lush vegetation. The quiet atmosphere and natural scenery make this one of the most relaxing sections of the trek.

Su Pan

As you continue toward Su Pan, the landscape gradually opens up, revealing wider views across the valleys and mountains. Take time to enjoy the scenery and reflect on the three-day journey through the villages and landscapes of Sapa. After completing the trek, your private car will meet you for the journey back to Sapa town.
