This is a 4-day experience in Sapa. It is run by Cheers Hostel and Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

It was an absolute blast! It was not so much party and hangovers as other organizations do. It was very chilled and free to do whatever you like in the evenings. If you want to go full send with happy water and beer you can. But my group was more chilled and just did a few. The easy riders were all very nice and our gide was great too. It’s the best moment of my trip in Vietnam so far!
